I have installed the doorbell. The ring (light) on the doorbell is white. I push the doorbell the ring (light) on the doorbell starts blinking white. I scan the barcode and hear the chime - app searches for doorbell - after about 45 seconds the ring (light) on the doorbell goes to solid red. If I allow the app to continue to search eventually, I see a message that a device cannot be found. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thx!

Thanks. This is a brand-new doorbell. I did reset it and I am having the same issue.

Thanks again for your assistance. Not sure why it can't be found after the chime rings....I will keep trying.

Make sure you're using the 2.4GHz band for your phone and the connection for the doorbell. It might help to disable the 5GHz band if possible. There's also an internal battery that has to have sufficient charge to allow the doorbell to work - wait 15 minutes or so after connecting power to ensure it has something of a charge. Check your router's SSID and password to ensure no weird/non-alphanumeric characters are uses in either the SSID or password.

Thanks! I ended up setting up a guest network and set it with no weird/non-alphanumeric characters and it worked! The only thing that I will put on the Guest is the doorbell. This technology stuff makes my head hurt...as I am a guy that lived before all of it (LOL)....Thanks again for your help!!
