Wireless Doorbell Will Not Finish Updating

Uninstalled via app, reset the doorbell with a small pin, setup the doorbell camera again, but it keeps getting stuck at the firmware update.

Doorbell will not work correctly as it seems it's not pairing to wifi correctly either and completely drains its battery within 24 hours.  The funny thing is I can live-stream video off the doorbell.  It fails to record anything though.  

I noticed this issue for about 3 months now and I am getting fed up with messing with this setup.

It can be difficult to control the amount of motion detection done by the doorbell, since it cannot be aimed.

Have you tried disarming the camera for a while, and see how quickly the battery drains?
