Wired?

Hi, today I bought the Arlo Essential Video doorbell wire-free, but my plan was to wire it so I dont need to charge the battery. But the "wired battery" was not included. Did I buy wrong model?

"Wired battery"? WHat do you mean by that? There's a removable battery in the doorbell as well as contacts in the mount for attaching existing wiring from a transformer. I don't have existing wiring so can't comment on the charging of the battery if connected to a transformer but you seem to be implying that the battery should have wires attached to it.
