Are there any benefits of connecting the arlo wired doorbell to a smart hub vs directly to WiFi? Or are they exactly the same?
I was wondering if connecting via a hub might solve the following issues:
1) there is always a long delay when starting streaming (on nest hub or mobile app)
2) Only one device can connect to live video stream at once. Means if multiple people in household get notified of a doorbell ring only 1 can see the stream
3) streaming to Nest hub cannot be in high quality.
If anyone knows the benefits that would be great.

.
Its essentially the same. The smarthub gives you local storage (if you want it), and also lets you create modes that can be useful if you have additional cameras, and not just the doorbell.
I don't think it will resolve any of the three issues you are having.
