I just installed my new Arlo setup at home. One doorbell and four PRO 4.

Coming from 1.gen Nest hello the whole video call when someone rings the door is still kinda odd but I guess we´ll get used to it 🙂

But it seems like there is some wierd things going on with the "call settings". By default we just want to see who's at the door and therefor want to answer the video call with our phones speaker and mic OFF.

- If I toggle both OFF in "call settings" and answer the doorbell the  speaker will be OFF but the mic is ON.

- If I just toggle the speaker ON in "call settings" and answer the doorbell the speaker is ON and the mic is OFF.

Using version 4.7.1 (6592) of the Arlo Secure App and the new feed experience.

This must be a bug? I expect both mic and speaker to be turned OFF when I answer a video call when these are set to OFF in the "call settings".

Sounds like it.  Though I think it's more critical to have the mic off, so the person at the door can't hear you.  You could also turn off the doorbell mic if you don't ever want audio (including livestreaming and recordings).  That would have the same effect as muting the phone speaker.

Thanks, will do that as a workaround for now.
