How to adjust notifications?

We have installed a video doorbell. We want to receive a notification/call when someone press the button, but do not want a notification every time a person or our cat walks past the camera/sensor. Is it possible to turn off notifications for the motion sensor, without turning off notifications for the doorbell itself?

Yes.  Just go into the mode you are using, and modify the rule for the doorbell so it doesn't notify you when it detects motion.  It will still record, and pressing the doorbell will still result in you getting a notification/call.

If you ever do want to disable the notification/call when the doorbell is pressed, you do that by going into the doorbell settings and going into "silent mode".
