Essential Doorbel is impossible to connect to hub (VMB4540)

No problem to connect to wifi but to connect to ”hub” is not even a given chooise in ”add new dewice”.

Yes i got latest version om the Ios-app (may 19 2021).

Any ideas?

The "wirefree" doorbell (AVD2001) can't connect to a smarthub at present.  Arlo says that feature is on their list of enhancements, but they have no ETA.

The "wired" doorbell (AVD1001) can connect either to your home wifi or to the smarthub.  Note it still uses wifi to connect.  "wired" means it gets power from your doorbell circuitry. "wirefree" runs purely on battery.
