Doorbell doesn’t detect motion when mode is set to ARM Home. I don’t even have an option to add the doorbell as rule. So, if someone walks near my front door and if I am home, the doorbell doesn’t record.

I found I had to remove the doorbell from my hub and then connect it directly to WiFi. The doorbell then becomes available to add to any mode.

Thank you @jguerdat . This did the trick. I am able to add doorbell to all modes.

Hello,

I removed it from my hub and it still doesn’t detect or call me when the door bell is pressed

Assuming that you connected it to your WiFi, you also have to add it to the available modes (it's not autommatic except for Armed Away).

I'm not sure how you got there. WHich user interface (UI) are you using? The one with Library at the bottom or Feed? The directions change according to the UI.
