My Arlo video doorbell records and saves videos just fine when a person, car etc. activates it within the activity zones I have set up. For some reason, however, if someone approaches the door and actually rings the doorbell but no body answers the doorbell notification sent to our phones, no video is recorded and/or saved. There is therefore no way to go back and look at footage to see who rang the doorbell. Has anyone else had this problem and found a fix? I'm sure it must be a bug as surely this would be a massive design flaw by Arlo?

Does this happen every time?

I suggest walking up to the doorbell yourself 10 times (not ringing it), and see how many recordings you get.  Then repeat that, but this time press the doorbell.

Ringing the doorbell doesn't trigger a recording, but the phone call shouldn't prevent one.
