I recently installed a wire free doorbell of which I am the admin/ main user.
Without knowing how to add users my wife created her own separate account that we tried to link to the doorbell. Arlo allowed us to create the account ok.
We then realised we needed to use the ‘Grant Access’ function but this does not wok as my wife already has an account. I have setup other users successfully using the grant access function.
We tried to delete the account following instructions we found online and resending the grant access but am unable to ‘approve’ the request so can’t complete the action.
Any ideas what to do? Thank you

Actually it would have worked even if the account already existed.
This often fails when the invite is accepted on a phone or tablet. So try again on a PC (windows or mac).
- Click on "create account" in the invite (even if the account already exists)
- The browser should now open to my.arlo.com
- If the account exists, just log into it. If the account does not exist, create it.

We just hooked our Arlo up yesterday with me as admin/user and I granted access to my husband. He got the invitation email, created an account and still does not have access. He then downloaded the Arlo App.
I have a couple of questions now: does he have to have the app on his phone? Does he need to use my login info on his app? If he does as you suggest and go to his invitation on a PC instead of his phone, does he use the account he created yesterday?
The 'grant access' process seems like it should be very straight forward, but it really doesn't seem to be at all.

Yes.

He could just use a PC if he'd prefer. But I think most people would want it on their phone.

No, he uses the account he created. You just need to get the invite accepted. Once accepted on a PC (using his account), he will also be able to access the cameras on the phone.

Thank you! I don’t know what he was doing originally, but we finally got him access.
