Hi there,

I have two Arlo video doorbells at two different locations nowhere near each other. I’ve been using the app for over a year and it kept the streams separate. For some reason about a month ago, when there is movement by one camera both start recording. It’s incredibly annoying and also eats up the battery.

any idea what’s happening? I’m also locked out of my account so I can’t change or update anything. It says it doesn’t recognize the device I always use. It also said I was sent a push notification but that never happened either. Help!

It is possible to manually set up the system to do that - it is called "Cross triggering".  That's controlled by the mode(s) you are using.  Each mode has rules for the cameras, and it is possible that set up those rules so that either doorbell will cause both to record.

But this shouldn't have happened on it's own.

Then you are not seeing any recordings?

Did you try using "another verification method" and then select email?  If you are logging into your phone, it is simplest to do this near a PC, and get the code by checking your email on the PC.
