Arlo video doorbell tab on the top of the doorbell broke

The tab at the top of the doorbell that snaps onto the mounting plate broke after the first time I removed it to charge the battery. Customer support doesn’t seem to understand the concept. They keep telling me to push down and in. No matter, it won’t work. When I asked for a supervisor, they stopped responding to my chat. Any suggestions? My product is still under warranty.

Is it too late to exchange it with the seller?

Ran into the same problem. Not sure if my clip is broken, but it popped out. I cant get it re-installed. Again, it doesnt look broken. Not sure if there's supposed to be a spring or if there's an additional part that I cant find that popped out. Mine actually fell off the wall, found it laying on the porch. 

 

Did you get it resolved and how?
