When someone rings the doorbell I have many issues.
1. When my iPhone rings I answer it and it immediately hangs up
2. When I was able to answer the doorbell properly I am not able too talk on it and the person at the door cannt hear

What model mobile device are you using?

 

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the mobile app, do you still experience the same issue?
