Arlo Doorbell - Few minutes delay when doorbell is pushed to ring my phone

I have the AVD2001Aer1.2 doorbell

 

There is a significant delay from when the doorbell is pushed to when I get the ring on my mobile phone.

Sometimes up to 2 minutes. At that stage the person is long gone.

It is connected directly to my Wifi.

What happens if the phone is awake and in use? How about if the Arlo app is in the foreground? What phone and OS?
