Purchased wire-free doorbell, worked great for about 4 months and then went off line. I removed it and re-installed it and it worked fine for about another month and it went off line again. Went through support and they determined that it needed replacing. I received the new one today and attempted to install it multiple times with no success. I have reset the unit, tried to install it standing next to the modem, and removed and re-installed the app. When I press the button to scan the code, it flashes white about 20 times, turns amber and flashes about 10 times then goes out. This is the way that the old unit responded when tech support determined it was a firmware issue. I have a hard time believing that I received a new unit with the same problem. Internet signal is strong to my phone and the old doorbell worked great for about 4 months so I have no reason it is an issue with the WiFi. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks in your advance.

I would guess it's an issue with the WiFi somehow. Try rebooting your router to see if that helps. You can try disabling the 5GHz band to get the doorbell connected and then turn it back on.

Thank you for the help, rebooting the modem seems to have done the trick. Never thought to do that with everything else working fine that was connected. Cheers.
