Can someone help please?? I have an existing Arlo camera system. I purchased the 2nd gen doorbell and installed as a wired system with my existing chime. Could not get the chime to work with the doorbell. Could also not get the doorbell to charge. I have the correct voltage and also a 30va transformer. I disconnected the chime and purchased a Arlo chime which is working now. I would like to charge my doorbell through the transformer. I tried to connect the doorbell directly to the transformer with no luck. I have seen a product that may work and is a magnet trickle charger. All I would like to do now is just be able the charge my doorbell through my transformer. Any suggestions??? Thanks much

What is the actual voltage measured at the doorbell? Is it AC or DC?

It's worth noting that you may not see the doorbell initiate charging until the battery drops below a certain threshold (~65%). Once the battery is low enough, it will begin charging.
