Hello, I can't get my Arlo video doorbell to ring on my phone when they someone is at the door. I do have it attached to chime and chime works fine. I've done everything from resetting the video doorbell.to removing it and adding back. I've also checked my phone settings. This was working fine up until 1 week ago. Please help. My door bell is 1 1/2 years old. Thank you.

@EPV There was an update performed on the backend to help with this symptom, can you test the doorbell calls again and let me know the results.
Thanks

I have the same exact issue, worked all a week or so back.
Now I only get a push notification on my Android indicating the door bell has been pushed.
I used to get a phone call that would forward me to the camera whenever I answered it. The push notification I now get doesn't enable me to click it, no forwarding to the camera. I need to open the app and then manually check the door bell camera. It's annoying and makes the features of this camera less interesting.

I had a similar problem with both audio and video doorbells. In the end, I had to return the video doorbell back to Amazon but actually, the issue was with the backend sync from what I remember. After Arlo adjusted something, my audio doorbell has been working flawlessly. Maybe @ShayneS can help here.

Which version of the Arlo app are you currently using, and does this issue occur on both Wi-Fi and mobile data?
Also, could you please check if the Silent Mode feature is enabled in your doorbell’s device settings?
I wasn't able to replicate this as described on iOS or Android.

I cannot answer my arlo doorbell on my android phone and wife's android phone. If i or somebody else ring the doorbell there come's a small popup in the screen and it does nothing when we click on it and when i open the app and want to live stream it says sip streaming in progress, streaming is not allowed. What is very strange because before when somebody ring the doorbell i get a big screen the same when somebody calls you on the phone with accept or decline call. Now is totally different. I have the newest firmware on base station and doorbell newest software on phone and app. Multiple times reset the doorbell and base station and configure again as new but nothing helps. This is ny second arlo doorbell because the first had also strange issues. And i have it not for so long about 6 months and already problems again..

@ShayneS wrote:Thanks @GCCI sent you a private message regarding this. Please let me know if you're able to do that.
@EPVI sent you a private message as well
oh I have the same issue too.
App version 6.5.0.
1x Android + 1x iPhone, both logging in as the same (master) account.
When door bell button is pressed, Android correctly rings and shows the doorbell camera when "answer" with app was clicked. On the other hand, the iPhones only rings BUT does not show the doorbell camera when the app "answer" was clicked.
@ShayneS please advise.

Thank you. I have been having exactly the same fault. It pings near the bell but does not connect via my phone and I get a message on my phone texting me that someone has rung my doorbell. it used to ring on my phone and show me a video of the person standing there and I could speak with them. It happened a week or so ago and I have tried uninstalling many times, etc. etc and nothing works.

Never been like this, this should be a bug. If not, I don't see the use of the dorbell camera and would request my money back.

My phone is not receiving notifications when the doorbell is pressed. The musical note has a line thru it. I am aware this signifies silent mode. The problem is when I go to the silent mode feature in the settings, it is off. So not sure what to do next.

That is always displayed. It is gray when silent mode is enabled, and white when it is on. So double-check that.

Normally you'd be getting a call when the doorbell is pressed - not a notification.
Notifications are controlled via the camera rule(s) in the mode(s) you are using. These are triggered by motion (or audio), not the doorbell press itself.

Yes, you are correct, I used the wrong terminology. My phone is not being called when the bell is pressed.

Odd. You might try Arlo support and see what they say.
Another option (painful) is to remove the doorbell from the account and do a hardware reset using the reset/pairing switch in the back. Then add it back, and see if the problem resolves.

I have the same issue and it started recently. I did a factory reset on the doorbell and that didn't help.
