I installed a gen 2 doorbell (wired) today. The video and chime work fine but I cannot talk with my phone. It just generates loud noise. Does anyone have the same issue? Arlo Video Doorbell 2nd Gen

Sorry to tell you this Anita, but after fighting it for two weeks and not being able to contact Arlo, I replaced it with a Ring. 

Arlo doesn't list a phone number on their website and a note there warns you not to use a phone number you find using Google.  Their online chat is with a bot who doesn't understand the simplest question.

I have had this problem when I am 5 miles away attempting to communicate with someone who pressed the button. I’ve turned down the volume on the doorbell. Let’s see if that works. Usually we have to reset our router to get the doorbell to stop the screeching noise.

Likely it will.  This is probably feedback.
