When I had a Ring doorbell and a notification was sent for a motion trigger, there was an option to not be notified for X more minutes. Does Arlo have such a a setting? As it is right now, if I'm sweeping the front porch for two minutes, I get a motion notification every 10-12 seconds until I'm done. It's beyond aggravating.
I'm happy with the sensitivity of the initial trigger. I just don't need to be updated over and over again until the camera is cleared.
Any suggestions?

DaveBVO,
Yes, you can temporarily mute notifications within the Arlo app. See these instructions: https://kb.arlo.com/000062908/How-to-Mute-Arlo-Notifications-Arlo-Secure-4-0

That's not the solution I'm looking for. I don't want to have to mute the notifications every time someone's at the door for more than five seconds. I just want Arlo to not tell me over and over and over again that there's someone there. One notification is enough.
To give an example: If someone rings the door and I have a two minute conversation in front of the doorbell camera, the entire time we're talking my phone is buzzing with notification after notification. Then my feed ends up with a string of 11 second videos.
Why not one notification and one two minute video? The other companies' cameras do it this way. Why not Arlo?
Am I missing something in the settings?

You could adjust recording length. This will result in less individual videos and notifications, but each video will be longer: https://kb.arlo.com/000062820/How-do-I-adjust-Arlo-video-recording-length-Arlo-Secure-4-0
