Arlo 2nd gen doorbell

I just installed the doorbell.  Instructions for set-up on my cell require me to remove the cover using pin or clip.  Neither works.  Door cover is not budging.   There was no "click" sound when the pin was put into the pin hole on top of the cover.   Help
