AVD2001, Doorbell will not recognise QR code for setting up a new network

I have this video doorbell, I have a new router so when setting up this on the doorbell and camera, with the doorbell when asked to scan the QR code with the doorbell it will not read it. Phone has been switched to light not dark, good surrounding lighting, slowly going between 4"-6". Can someone please help. I still have the Chime to sort also

As has been stated many times here, the easiest thing to do when getting a new router is to simply change the new router's WiFi settings to use the old SSID and password so all devices automatically connect. No changing of networks or resetting of cameras needed.

 

A doorbell, or any other Arlo device that connects to WiFi, does not need to be re-added to the account. In the camera's settings, use Connected To/WiFi Network to change the WiFi. If you've removed the doorbell from your account, try resetting it and then add it back, being very careful to be sure you're choosing the right model.
