vmc5040 will not record to local usb

I have an Ultra vmc5040 camera that works fine but will not record to the usb in the WMB 4000 base.

Do any other cameras record to the vmb4000 Base station ok?

Fyi, the vmb4000 Base can’t be used to show the recordings in the arlo app, the USB storage device needs to be removed and files viewed on a pc.

The arlo smart hubs 4540/5000 do allow mobile app access where you can download the recordings to your mobile device for viewing. The app library or feed only shows cloud recordings.
