Have had VMb5000 for several years with 5 wireless Ultra cameras.  One outdoor camera was down to 17% battery so I connected to charge it.  Once inside, i went to check on charge status.  In the process, I went to each of my cameras ‘live’ for function test.  4 of the 5 came right up, but not the one charging.  I tried to restart the camera and ended up deleting the Base from the system.

The. tried to add the base back in - but the App blows up when I hit ‘add device’.  Have deleted and reloaded the App, restarted my computer (iPad) to clear any cache.  Have restarted the base and it’s rj45 cable a few times - always comes up with a ‘blue’ light, indicating a wifi connection and ready to go.

So why is the App blowing up?  How in hades do I add the Smartbase back in (let alone the 5th camera, but I’ll worry about that one later)?

is this a known issue?

thanks

Do a hardware reset of the smarthub using a paperclip, and try adding it back again.  If the phone or tablet still fails, then try a PC (my.arlo.com) if you have one (and iPad is not a PC).
