Ultra camera grey when using doorbell

I have an arlo ultra 3 camera system using latest version of the arlo app from the Apple App Store. Cameras work fine but when I take a call from the arlo audio doorbell the camera the doorbell is paired to is grey/doesn’t load.
Would love to know how to fix this problem. I have uninstalled and installed the app again. I have uninstalled as installed the cameras and the doorbell. All without luck. Pretty ridiculous system if the video grey every time the doorbell rings.

This could be due to the mobile device you're using not being able to support a high resolution doorbell call.
Try lowering the video quality in the settings for the camera that is paired to your audio doorbell and test again to see if you still experience the same issue.

This didn’t work unfortunately. Lowered the video settings and still the same problem.
I’m using an iPhone 8 Plus with the latest iOS and the latest version of the Arlo app.
It’s quite a ridiculous scenario given the cost of the products.
