I have Arlo ultra cameras that are only about 1 1/2 years old. All of the batteries are essentially useless. They do not take a charge. Is this a factory defect?

Did you let the batteries drain all the way?  It can be a bit tricky to get them to charge when you do that.

Make sure the contact area is clean an it is fully seated. ( gently rub with pencil eraser )

Make sure you are using the original adapter/cable

Attempt to charge same battery several times if it was drained to low

Only other thing I can think of ( unknown if it makes a diff ) is a user claimed his ultra wasn't charging fast until he plugged in the adapter with logo up....then it worked

How do you know it isn't a failed charger?
