Something very strange.
I had a problem with one of my Ultra's (see other post) and so I decided to "Remove Device" and add again to the SmartHub.
This worked perfectly however after adding again, I was informed that there was a new Ultra firmware available.
I checked my other 3 Ultras to see if there was a new firmware available and each showed ""No updates available" however I "Remove Device" and add to the SmartHub again, a new firmware was installed.
Previously the camera had 1.070.50.4_223_df6cd69 and after the update completed I now have 1.070.50.6_231_6e7e184 on all 4 Ultras.
Note: Since doing this, I'm now having intermittent results with regards to detecting movement.

Hi morganc5,
Just to make sure, are you still having problems trying to update the firmware for your Aro Ultra? You can read more about the firmware updates here: What do I need to know about Arlo camera firmware updates?
For more information about the newest firmware version for Arlo Ultra, read here: Arlo Ultra VMC5040 - 1.070.50.6_231_6e7e184 23 August 2020

Hi,
There is no problem upgrading the firmware.
In the iOS app:
Choose Device Info -> Firmware -> this shows "No updates available".
However if I "Remove Device" (to fix the previously mentioned "zoom problem") and then add the camera again (Add New Device), I was advised that there was a firmware update available and indeed, the firmware was updated.
I tested this with all 4 cameras and had the same experience.

hello,
Has anyone else exprienced this problem, where there was a later firmware available however it was not shown as available, until I deleted/removed the camera from the SmartHub and then detected/added again.
Previously the camera had 1.070.50.4_223_df6cd69 and after adding the camera again the 1.070.50.6_231_6e7e184 update was installed.
