  • Routines not switching when new time hits.

Arm Home - set to record 3 of 4 cameras

Arm Away - set to record 4 of 4 cameras

routines:

schedule - day start 7 am with arm home

schedule - night start at 8 pm with arm away

The routine schedules are not switching at the time set. I have to manually set my arm home/away to get the schedule to switch.

I have both schedules turned on where they are not grayed out. The old app schedules worked fine except it didn’t allow us to set specific cameras to disarm but it would disarm all cameras during the day and arm all cameras at night. I only want one camera not armed during the day.

Can you post screenshots of the two schedule automations?

Your enable lists (right under the automation name) are wrong.  That lists the modes the system needs to be in for the automation to trigger.  So your automation to switch to "Arm Home" is set to only run when the system is already in "Arm Home" mode.    And your automation to switch to "Arm Away" is set to only run when the system is already in "Arm Away" mode.

You want the two schedule automations to be enabled in both Arm Away and Arm Home.

I enabled both arm away and arm home under the name of the schedule and it’s still not applying the changes as listed for the time.

What mode is the system in now?

Are you seeing the mode changes listed in the "Feed"?

Arm home switched at 7:05 am in the feed. I will see if it switches to arm away at 8ish tonight automatically.

thank you so much for the guidance! Wasn’t real clear on the app on how to get it to do what you intend. I felt like I altered everything and kept testing with no resolve. (And I build databases for electronic medical records so have a high tech background too and schedules are much more involved then Arlo lol).
