I have a big problem with one camera.. The other ones aren't as bad and I am trying to accept how unreliable the SECURITY CAMERA SYSTEM I spent a lot of money on is.
Battery charged, half or better Wi-Fi signal at all times.
It simply stopped recording (or saving it at least). When I look at the camera on the app it shows an updated thumbnail from the last motion and how many minutes ago it was, but no recording saved for days in an area where we walk thru at least 30 times a day.
I used the app to reboot the base station and it started working again for about a day then stopped again for an entire day.
I have had the system about a month, so I am fairly new to this stuff... Is there something I could be missing here? Lots of comments about Arlo updating things causing problems, how do I tell if that has happened? Do I need to do something after they release an update? Any advice to make me not want to throw this unreliable system thru the company's front windows? (If they use their own system, I would never get caught because there would be no video of it happening). Joking at that last part of course.
Seriously tho, the camera obviously picks up the motion... Why do I have no video clips?

Interesting option... I'll try it, but there is obviously still a problem.

Jim_1,
You indicate the problem is with one camera, does this mean you have others that are working? What mode are you using (the default Armed mode or did you create a custom mode)?
If you swap the location of this camera with a working one, does the issue follow the camera or the location?

I bought the Ultra 4 camera package. I have 3 of them set up currently, and using the built in "Armed" mode and haven't changed the mode since I set it up.
I set it all up about a month and a half ago and everything was working good (except it wouldn't pick up motion sometimes when I thought it should have, but it was good enough I could handle it). Everything worked good for 2-3 weeks, then I started having random issues with 2 of them but they would still semi-work (they would catch about 1/2, 2/3 of the recordings that they should). Now I have this one that is in a fairly high traffic area that won't record for over 24 hours sometimes, some days it will work about 1/4 of the time, other days it will work perfectly.
I have not swapped cameras around, but I can tell you that the one I have that works all the time is the one furthest from the base station.

Jim_1,
Try swapping the camera that is working as desired with the camera that is behaving poorly to further isolate the issue. The issue could be related to the cameras location (interference, motion you're trying to detect is out of the cameras range, etc.)
