Local recording on micro SD card on Arlo Ultra Smart Hub

I would like to know if I record locally on a micro SD card on my Arlo Ultra Smart Hub, will I also get at the same time cloud recordings with my Arlo Premier subscription? Also, what is the benefit of using a micro SD card to record locally? Thanks!

If you have a cloud subscription, the recordings will go to both the cloud and the MicroSD card.  In that use case, the MicroSD card acts as a backup to the cloud recordings.

If you don't have a cloud subscription, you can set up the system to allow you to access the recordings on the MicroSD card from the app.
