Can anybody shed light on my problem with one of my cameras, I get “audio” setting off the camera and then recording that but there is nothing. This happens sometimes every few minutes. This is killing my battery but I do not understand why. I have tried turning off the microphone and the Audio setting in alerts too. Could it be a defective camera? TIA

First check that CO/Smoke detection is not enabled in the smart notification settings.
If that doesn't help, then try removing the camera from the account, and then do a hardware reset. You do that by opening the camera and pressing the sync button inside until the LED flashes amber (~ 15 sec). Then add the camera back to the account.

You didn't mention toggling audio detection off in your modes and rules for the camera(s). Without that setting, audio may well be causing the recordings. Lowering the mic level doesn't actually turn it off - it just changes the threshold (same for motion detection).
