Hi, I have the Arlo Ultra camera with solar panel.
My understanding was that the magnetic charging cord (from the solar panel to the base of the camera) was a waterproof system.
I've only had the camera set up 1 week and have already received a warning from the base station that there was a problem.
When I pulled the charging cord off the magnetic input there was already rust there!
I've cleaned it and wrapped it in a sticky wound dressing with good results.
Does Arlo make a real cover for this connection area?

No but I doubt it was rust since I don't believe there are any iron-related products in that area. It may have been dirt/whatever that somehow got trapped, perhaps by water. I would wipe both sides of the connection carefully to ensure they're clean and dry and try again without the wrap. I've had solar panels on multiple devices for some time now with only a couple of instances of needing to clean the connections.
