There is a semi-bug or inconsistency in the logics of the Modes creation. It first asks you to pick a camera zone from a list of your cameras that is custom-sorted; however on the next step, it lets you pick a camera device but the list of cameras is alphabetical. Not a huge deal until you realize it becomes extremely easy to accidentally pick the wrong one; and when dealing with security, zero tolerance is the rule. Especially since we have to create a fresh Mode from scratch (rather than cloning one from an existing template), this should be adjusted by the Arlo developpers so that both listings of camera zones and camera devices are consistent with each other.
