Auto track and zoom feature

The Arlo FAQ states that "When Arlo Ultra detects motion, it automatically zooms in and tracks the motion for you. This tracking shows up as curated clips that are stored in the cloud for your easy access and playback." The question is, does it record the zoomed (curated) clips *in addition to* the normal (non-zoomed) videos (so we have 2 recordings in the end: the normal view and a curtated clip)? Or does it record these *in place of* the standard videos (thereby causing us to lose the normal view)?

Just to be 100% sure... when you zoom in, it automatically forces a 1080 resolution (regardless of what was user-defined); correct?
Why is that?
Sounds like it might be because the zoom is actually a digitaly processed one, which means that the image is merely cropped around the selected region, to a maximum zoom of around x4 (which would be roughly 4K divided by 1080)...
