Arlo Ultra won't connect to hub

Hi,
I just bought the Arlo Ultra kit with one camera and tried to connect with no success. I reset the router, charged the camera battery, etc. The base unit is a solid blue and there is no light showing until I press the manual button on the the camera and it starts to flash a slow blue with the base flashing a slow blue. After a couple on minutes the camera light flashes a quick orange and no connection. I have the camera near the station.

Yes it finally worked for some reason, but the video quality is terrible. Might send it back no different than the 1080 p. People are stating because ARLO is compressing files.

The video quality of a recorded video or live stream? Can you elaborate on this?

It's live stream and recorded. Looks ok at regular viwe, but when I just do a tiny zoom in can't even see grass clearly and not even recognize faces. Definitely not 4k quality. I read is because ARLO is compressing files to save space on servers. Is there anyway I can save to a remote hard drive and have the files non-compressed.
I read that the distance from the hub to camera has something to do with it, but that is not true. Tech did even respond to emails for 2 days now. Bummer, nice system but poorly executed and false advertising.
