Arlo Ultra with old base station

I have a VMB3010r2 Base Station with 5 arlo cameras. Can I add an Arlo Ultra easily into that configuration?

Not yet. Firmware updates would be needed for the baseif the base hardware can support the Ultra.

What do you have in mind?

Adding Ultra cameras to the existing hub?

Buying an Ultra bundle, with hub, and adding your existing stuff to that?

Running two system side by side?

I do the last of these. Works fine.

You might also be able to add existing cameras to an Ultra hub.

Beware the change in the subscription regime. Ultra cameras do not comer with perpetual on-line storage. Subscription only.

An Ultra hubs do not have the deafening siren that is a part of the Pro 2 hub.
