Hi,
I've been using the Arlo Android App Version 2.7.11_25630 with Cam FW 1.060.33.9_33004. I also have Arlo Lights and setup a rule that when the Light Detects Motion the Arlo Ultra should record video. However, I just noticed that when I set the Arlo Ultra Camera "Device On" function to the "OFF" position (see attached pict) that the Arlo Ultra still records video when motion is detected on the Arlo Light because of my rule. I think the logic should be that if the Camera is set to "Device OFF" then it shouldn't record. Anyhow, thought the behavior of the Camera for "Device OFF" should override the rule to record.
thanks.
Regards.

KenC,
The "off" toggle, as shown here, won't prevent the camera from being triggered by another device. If you have rules set up that do this, you should disabled them when using the privacy feature.
For more information on this feature, take a look here: How do I use the Arlo privacy feature?
