Arlo Ultra - over exposure white eaves

My camera is picking up the white eave from my house and everything else in view is basically black. I'm going to try to reposition the camera to avoid the eave, but i'm wondering whether Arlo could build into the zone of interest, integration with the contrast settings, so that the area we are interested in appears properly and nearby objects we aren't interested in can be fenced out on not impinge the visual quality?
