Hi, I have a Arlo Ultra kit with 4 cameras, and love it. I want to extend it, with 3 new cameras, and a second base station for better range.
Can i bye a cheaper Arlo Pro 3 kit, and connect the 2 base stations? I don’t need 4k on my other cameras, its manly to see my dogs in the yard, and see that they are safe, and having fun.
Im on a premium plan if that have anything to do with it..
My plan is to set up the second base station (included in the Arlo Pro 3 kit) in the other end of my house, on the same network.
Do i have to connect the base stations with LAN cable, or can i use Wi-Fi for the second base station?
Thanks for your help!

Yes, you can add a Pro 3. If you have a wifi mesh, you could also get Pro 4s and connect them directly to your home network.
Although the bases and cameras are all in one account, the base stations are independent - and are not in any sense connected together. Cameras are paired with a specific base (and you can connect the Ultras to the smarthub in the Pro 3 kit if you want to do that).
