Arlo Ultra SD Card ONLY

I can use the internet for initial set up but I want this setup to be mobile. I want to be able to use the SD card only for recording and reviewing. No cloud. Can I do this just using these cameras and the base station + microSD card?

Nope. The base station always has to be plugged in to the internet.

Without a subscription, all you get is local recordings. Maybe that's all you need? The base/hub still needs Internet access to be able to manipulate the system.

So if I don’t have the Ethernet cable plugged in, I can still record on the microsd? I don’t want or need live stream.
