Arlo Pro Base station then adding Arlo 4k camera to existing base station? 

I currently have the Arlo Pro 720p 4 Camera kit, and I was thinking of adding 2 Arlo Ultra cameras to my house, However i'm not sure if i need to upgrade my existing base station? 

I am currently on the free plan, but intend to upgrade to the paid plan once I add the Arlo Ultra cameras.

JBlanco,

Arlo Ultra will not sync with your existing base station. You must have a SmartHub to sync the Ultra cameras.

You can however keep your existing base station and use it in addition to the SmartHub.

What is a SmartHub I do not see that on the website at all

The smart hub is the ULTRA Base...  ( VMB5000 )

the ultra camera will only link to the new base but you can use older cameras on the Ultra base too
