Activity Zone (without a subscription). Can I not use activity zone if I don't have it plugged in?

Activity zones, I believe, are used to only send alerts when movements occur within the activity zone. I have looked at this article.

What if I don't want to pay for subscription and I don't have the ability to plug the camera to a continuous power source, does that mean there's no way I can set up activity zone? What does this mean, all movements within what the camera can see will trigger an alert?
Does this apply to other models like the Pro 2 and Pro 3?

Yes you are correct, they need to be plugged into AC (not solar) or a subscription. It applies to all cameras as listed in the article. A sub will also give you smart notifications.
