I'm trying to invite my wife (grant her access) so that the alarms aren't triggered when i'm not at home (using geofencing)
Therefore i went into the 'grant access' menu. I flag all 3 cameras that i want my wife to see the footage from and i also flip the switch that is supposed to give her access to extra features.
Note that i'm trying to send an invite to a maildomain in Belgium (.....@telenet.be).
This is the firmware of 1 camera : 1.070.50.8_238_08974f3. Hardware = H10
I'm running my iphone on iOS 14.3
When i push the 'send invite' button, I get an errormessage. (see attachment)
the message shows in Dutch, but when translated in English it says: Unfortunately, Arlo is currently not available, please try again later"
But.. this is has been going on for 3 weeks now...
what am i doing wrong??

Hi BoscoBilly,
Have you tried on the web client on your computer to see if that works?

Hey JessicaP,
thanks for the suggestion, but i indeed had tried that before, and it basically gives the same error message stating that the Arlo service is not available...
Any other ideas you might have, do let me know
thanks - BoscoBilly

I would suggest to contact the Support Team to further investigate this issue. You will find several options for contacting support in the provided link.

So...I contacted the Support team, and surprise surprise, it seems that there simply is no solution to this problem.
You cannot invite your family members to join your Arlo security network when living in Belgium.
neither can they indicate by when this would get on the backlog for fixing.
Which basically renders my 1000€ investment worthless.
What a laugh, what a bummer...(sigh)

So is this a Belgian privacy issue or an Arlo software/implementation issue.
Asking because my next step in my Arlo deployment is to invite my wife (US based system) as an operator.

Hi pwaggs,
You should be able to send an invite to any users grant access regardless of which country they are from.
