VMB5000v5  Firmware 1.21.1.0_1431_9611cf3

A family member wanted my help to correct the issue of video not visible in feed. I have done a factory reset, set up an account and installed newest software on an iPhone as of July 2023. According to the software there are no updates available for the base station.  Everything is working as advertised with the exception of the feed is empty. I am using local storage and NOT the cloud.  I know the camera is recording because I have configured the system to display the videos when going to devices, base station, storage settings. All videos are available there but when I go to the feed nothing displayed.  I know this is an extensive problem as I have researched it extensively. Each description has its own flavor and none of them really apply to what I am experiencing.  My brother is extremely frustrated based on the amount of money he paid for the system so I would very much like to find a solution for him.

In order to see local recordings in the new user interface (UI) that has Feed to view cloud recordings, go to Settings, Home, Devices, your hub, Storage Settings. That will show the recordings along with a calendar icon to channge days.

So to clarify what you were saying, if you do not store on the cloud the feed will be empty?

Yes. Only cloud recordings go there.
