My VMB5000 base received a firmware update yesterday and now we’re back to this old issue again probably 50% of the time.

I’m also having to reboot the base constantly now. What’s going on?

When the issue is showing, what is the LED on the hub showing?

Sometimes blue, sometimes blinking orange.

According to the following, the flashing amber means a camera connection issue:

By any chance is the hub near any other wireless devices that could be interfering with the signal. It may also be worth moving the hub as far away from the router as practical.

Thanks, I know what the lights mean and I know about the potential interference from nearby devices. I’ve had Arlo cameras for 6 years. In this case, it began immediately after the base firmware update. It seems to have self-corrected the last couple of days. I’m not sure if they pushed another update or made changes on their end. Hopefully it stays fixed.
