Can more than one mode can be set up to be operating at the same time?
For instance, I want one camera to be on permanently armed and provide alerts, the other cameras should be armed on a schedule.
I have set up separate modes for different cameras, but the app does not allow me to apply a schedule to one of the modes.
ALSO
The app only allows the selection of one mode.
How can I fix this?

No. Only one mode can be operating on a base at a time.
But each mode can have rules for multiple cameras.

The way you do this is
- create a mode that only arms this camera. Then use this mode whenever you'd normally use disarmed.
- make sure that every other mode that you schedule includes a rule that arms this camera,
The key idea here - you need to identify all the combinations of cameras you want active at any given time. Then you need to create a mode for each of those combinations. After that, you schedule those modes.

Thanks for the suggestion.
The way I understand this is, if I have the mode set to arm/disarm all cameras on a daily schedule, then I have to remember to change modes every day to leave the other one on permanetly.
OR
I leave them all armed, but switch off the alerts and recording on the cameras I want to be inactive.
Either way, seems a bit cumbersome. ... or do I buy a second smarthub?

No, you aren't getting it yet.
Let's imagine that you have
- one outdoor camera that you want armed all the time (Camera A)
- Two more outdoor cameras that you want armed from 5 pm to 6 am, but disarmed during the day (Cameras B, C)
- Two indoor cameras you want armed from 6 am to 6 pm. (Cameras D, E)
So from
- midnight to 6am you want A, B, and C armed
- 6 am to 5 pm you want A, D, and E armed
- 5 pm to 6 pm you want A, B, C, D, and E armed
- 6 pm to midnight you want A, B, C armed (same as midnight to 6 am)
You have 3 combinations of cameras. So you need three modes - one of which is the built-in ARMED mode.
- A, B, C ("Outdoor" custom mode)
- A, D, E ("Indoor" custom mode) -somewhat misnamed, since A is outdoor.
- A, B, C, D, E (exlsting "Armed" mode)
Now you set up the schedule
- midnight to 6am: Outdoor
- 6 am to 5 pm: Indoor
- 5 pm to 6 pm: Armed
- 6 pm to midnight: Outdoor

Thanks.
So I see, once the modes are set up, the schedule allows selection of the mode you can schedule.
Makes sense now,
Thanks
