When I zoom in with my Ultra 2 cameras I can't control the zoom as it wanders all over the place and pans uncontrollably

The team has identified the cause and the symptom with the camera zoom should be resolved. The fix is in a slow rollout phase with app version 5.5.0
and should be at 100% soon.

I have the same exact issue since "upgrading" to the new app. When trying to zoom in on a live feed the view wanders from where I'm trying to look. Super annoying.

On Android app version 5.4.2_28786.
Specifically, it occurs during full screen live view.

Hi I have a variety of cameras and recently I've noticed in full screen when you zoom in on a live image the screen automatically scrolls back to the center.
This is very annoying as you can't focus on a certain area of interest without continually having to adjust.
Any ideas how to disable this?

This is a bug in the app. Arlo knows about it, so a fix will likely be available soon.

Hey, Shane.
Why not just provide us with 5.3.3_28779 so we can resume using the systems we paid for?

I had the exact same problem and I decided to uninstall the app and then redownload it again (Google Play Store for my Android phone) and now it SEEMS to be working normally again. To be honest, I'm not convinced yet that it won't start doing it again because this new app is very buggy. Fingers crossed 🤞

oh have you received and updated to 5.5.0_29785 already?
Good to hear the "weird panning when zoomed" issue fixed. Does the same 5.5.0 fix your other issue about "unable to access SD card" ?
Curious if you notice any fix to the following outstanding issue?
- geofencing NOT working all the time
