Three of these mounts installed on outdoor poles have failed at the back threaded lock nut attachment, allowing water to enter the internals. Additionally, when this seal fails, the camera release loses its pressure "spring" and it becomes very, very difficult to remove the camera in order to change the battery. On two of the three, the magnetic charger contacts have failed and stopped charging due to this seal failure; I have verified that these two cameras will still charge by using an old standard mount case on the magnetic charger at the location.
On a fourth Total Security mount, barn swallows repeated attacks on the new "intruder" near their nesting location resulted in loosening of the attachment of the camera case to the mount threaded stem. This also caused the loss of the seal at this location. This camera will no longer spring out of the case when released. It is very, very difficult to remove the camera once this seal has failed.
Fifty dollars per case is a lot for a six month useful life. Not happy or impressed.
