I have three internal cameras facing windows and doors, 2 external cameras and a doorbell facing my driveway, deck and porch on one base unit.  Is it possible to create a schedule (preferably based on geofencing) where only the perimeter cameras activate at night while I'm home during certain hours?

IOW...

I want everything on when I'm not home.

I want everything to turn off when I'm home.

I want only external cameras on when I'm home at night (i.e. from say 10PM to 7AM)

Thanks in advance!

  1. Create a custom mode (let's call it outdoor) that only has rules for the external cameras.  Internal cameras will be disarmed whenever this mode is used.  See https://kb.arlo.com/42/What-are-modes-and-rules-and-how-does-Arlo-use-them
  2. Create a schedule that is set to disarmed from 7am to 10 pm, outdoor from 10 pm to 11:39pm, and outdoor from midnight to 7 am.  Note you need two outdoor entries because you can't schedule across midnight.  If you were home all the time, this schedule would do what you want.
  3. Add in geofencing - setting "Away" to Armed and "Home" to Schedule.
