When it is time to charge my battery, I always have difficulty removing the camera from the shell. When I press the release button, the camera does not slide forward as it should so I can’t grab it and pull it out completely. If this is true of all the cameras I have. Does anyone have any tips? I’ve been using a small suction cup. I put on the front of the camera to help me pull it out once I press the release button. There has to be a better way.

You could try applying some silcone grease around the o-ring.
Generally I press the release button once, and pull it out a little bit (though some folks say they shake the camera). Then I press it again, and pull out the camera the rest of the way.

The silicone worked. Now it slides out as it should. Thanks for the reply.
