When an Ultra 2 on battery power detects motion, but it’s outside the activity zone, does it still save the clip to local storage, even though the AI software will suppress the notification and delete the cloud clip?  I thought it did, but it seems like it’s not anymore.

It does still do that.  Maybe first confirm that it is still working correctly using the motion detection test.
